uniforms, we need more masculinity in america. rachel: we saw a little bit last night. charlie: we sure did. trump walking into the wrestling championship in philadelphia was truly, truly baller. look at the crowd. and these are high school wrestlers. they're, like, and college wrestlers. they're bananas. and if you know wrestlers, they're really intense people, and they're very -- it's a very sort of, you know, it's a sport that the you have to -- it's like a mind game. rachel: yeah. charlie: and, it's, like, it's all self-control. it's truly amazing, and the crowd can went absolutely wild. rachel: yeah, erupted. truly. and this is, again, one of those sports that doesn't get as much attention as, like, football and basketball. jim jordan, a bigtime wrestler in congress, like you said, a

very intense sport. donald trump feels right at home here. lisa: think how cool it would be if you were in college, and the president of the united states is there in the flesh, also one you respect are, elon musk is right there. how cool. what i love about this too is but look at this reception that he's getting or, president trump's the undisputed people's champ, right? what's so funny is all these people who have tried the headache him down only end up taking down themselves. you look at the things they've tried to do to him, they have the lowest approval ratings ever. if or the media tried to destroy him, now they've destroyed themselves. charlie: and it's general win on both sides. listen to the reaction of trump. [laughter] lisa: he repeatedly said success will unite the country. rachel: yes. lisa: it was something, i can't remember the poll, on the night of the joint days they announce there had been something like almost $2 trillion of investments already in the country. he talked about apple there as well. that's more than biden had in all four years -- [laughter] which really shows you success will unite the country, and he's succeeding. and thank god for everyone, right? it's good for all of us. rachel: talk about successful companies. one of them is tesla, and tesla under attack by with liberals who have decided that the elon musk should pay a price for having uncovered their corrupt money laundering through our taxpayers' dollars and usaid and semi other organizations -- so many other organizations inside of our government that were

funneling money to ngos which in turn funneled back into the democrat party. it was just a scam. and elon musk uncovered it, charlie, and this is what he got for it. charlie: yeah. and ten minutes ago all these people were with on the other side of this this, and they thought that elon musk was the greatest, tesla was the the greatest, they went out and bought the teslas -- actually, i take it back. tease people were not buying teslas. these people are rent-a-protesters. they do not contribute anything to society. they don't buy things, they don't -- they don't work, they don't have jobs, they just do this. and, you know, or it reminds me of something you were saying yesterday, rachel. you know, we should find out who's paying for all of this. rachel: yeah. charlie: i guarantee you, these people who are bombing -- fire bombing teslas, that's not a normal democrat.

that's not a normal person who objects to donald trump. these are whackos, and we should find out who's bankrolling these things. rachel: trump mentioned the signs all look the same, they're all well printed, they're well funded and, clearly, this is organized. as charlie aptly said, rent-a a-mob. lisa: the problem is these people get a wink-wink, nod-nod from party leaders. it was maxine waters who said get up in their faces and get out and cause commotion, right? so they get a wink-wink, nod-nod from party leaders, and the left, they're like the kid who they lose a game, right, ask they just knock it over. no one else can play except replace knocking it over with fire bombs. and it's because president trump has dismantled their power structure, is they don't know what to do. rachel: that's right. these protests are going all

over the country. their goal is to tell people not just the vandalize and all the things you've been seeing, but they literally are very explicit. they want to drive the stock price down and stop elon musk, they claim, from stealing democracy and from, you know, being a nazi. that's the other accusation. here's what elon has said in response. >> it turns out when you take away people's, you know, the money they're receiving fraudulently, they get very upset, and they basically want to kill me because with i'm stopping their fraud. and they want to hurt tesla because we're stopping this terrible waste and corruption in the government. and, well, e guess they're bad people -- i guess they're bad people. bad people do bad things. rachel: simple stuff. lisa: yeah. exactly. rachel: we spent ten minutes on this and he's, like, two seconds.

[laughter] charlie: but it is true. i mean, people don't like -- they like their scams. they don't want to lose their scams. rachel: very simple. charlie: and it's human nature. and, of course, our entire government is built around human nature. and you've got a guy like elon who understands that better than a lot of our own regular politicians. and if you're wondering how fundamentally unserious these people are, you have people like minnesota governor tim walz talking about trying the trash -- to trash tesla's stock price even though, of course, the minnesota pension fund has tesla stock. so basically he's arguing in favor of tanking the minnesota pension fund. rachel: watch. >> they've got that little stock app? if i added tesla to it to give me a little boost during the day. [laughter] [cheers and applause] but i, i have to be careful about being a a smart [bleep] i was making a joke. these people have no sense of humor. they are the most literal people. charlie: because he's so funny. he's a real comedian. rachel: did you see him decorating his christmas tree with his wife? lisa: no, now i need to see it though. what happened? rachel: it must be seen, right, charlie? charlie: it's painful.

rachel: it's so bad. lisa: these people, it's like a 50-50. is he too dumb to know that he's talking about the destruction of his own state and people, or does he know and he's just that evilville, he doesn't -- evil, he count care? do you remember the elizabeth warren one when she's in her own house drinking beer and trying to be normal, and she turns the her husband, great seeing you here. of course he's there, it's his house. rachel: that was possibly the most awkward political moment of all time. i this what we're yo -- i think what you're seeing is it's not just trump decan rangement syndrome, it's elon derangement. when you don't have religion in your own life and you replace it with politics, it drives you crazy. there's no comfort in billion ticks. it's just not going to -- in billion ticks. that's what you're seeing, you're seeing a complete meltdown. meanwhile, over at the fbi kash

patel continues along the same vein as elon musk, rooting out corruption. yesterday he was on with "sunday night in america," and here's what he had to say. or tonight -- >> i want the american public to know too we've had problems at the fbi, we are going to hold ourselves internally accountable for those meting out justice who have the privilege to wear the gun and the badge. where hose missteps have been taken, we've already eliminated those people from the rolls of the f or bi, and we will continue to vigorously upheld on a 24/7/365 basis as vigorously as we pursue violent crime those that abuse, corrupt or violate their oath of office at the fbi. i will not stand for it. i will have zero tolerance. if there's someone in this building that is doing harm to the american public, they're going to hear about it through prosecutions. there is no corner on this earth we will not chase down a violent criminal, and there is no sector of the public we will not root

out corruption and make sure the american people know what has happened, because that's what they deserve. charlie: it's a little bit like the elon musk thing, talking about the rooting out corruption. what the trump administration wants to do and what kash patel wants to do at the fbi and is make the fbi more effective, honest, transparent and more -- and better able to do their job. and democrats freak out and say, you're trying to destroy the fbi! no, you're trying to make it more effective and make it more honest and make it more transparent so that it actually benefits the taxpayers who are funding it and give them the authority to do what they do in the first place. a. rachel: it's just kind of, also, let's admit there's a little bit of trolling going on here when donald trump puts kash patel ask dan bongino in charge of the fbi. charlie: true. rachel: let's be honest, there is reason for liberal heads to explode. it is just so delicious.

[laughter] lisa: also just imagine an fbi that tries to protect its own people. kash patel made this great statement, he said his to objective is to make sure we don't have 100,000 rapes in the country, 100,000 drug overdoses from chinese fentanyl and mexican heroin and make sure we don't have 17,000 homicides. and imagine if the doj and fbi hadn't been singularly focused on january 6th, the largest criminal investigation in the fbi's history, we wouldn't have had the 1000 100,000 -- 100,000 rapes and drug overdoses -- rachel: do you know what else, lisa? i've interviewed fbi agents who were whistleblowers on my podcast, and they said i was taken off of child pedophile cases and put on january 6th. if i mean, just think about. that's. lisa: yeah, that's evil. pure evil.

charlie: president trump looking to end his dispute with maine governor janet mills once and for all and demanding a, quote, full-throated apology from the democrat mayor who has been silent on protecting women's sports before fully restoring federal funding. joining us now is maine representative the laurel libby. you know, from the outside it kind of looks like janet mills completely folded in the face of president trump's threats. but i think you have a slightly different and perhaps more, a better informed view of it. >> governor mills is trying to pull a fast one here. she has no intention of removing biological peals from girls' sports -- males from girls' sports in maine. we heard thisst last week with that the university of maine system has said that they will come ply with title ix, but guess what? they've never had biological males participating in girls' sports.

it's actually at the high school level, not the college level, where we've seen biological males participating in girls a' sports in maine. and governor mills, the democrat majority have no intention whatsoever of changing their policy, let alone apologizing to president trump. charlie: okay. so that's absolutely mind-blowing. so the problem is actually even worse than what we think because it's, you know, at the college level it's bad, but the idea that it's at the high school level is even worse. is there anything that president can do about that? at the high school level? >> well, the question remains the same, it's the federal funding issue. when you look at the k-12 level, there are hundreds of millions of dollars at stake here. and that's the level where we need to see the trump administration taking action. and, lull absolutely, polling through on their promise,

unfortunately, to take federal funding and insure that maine does not receive that. it's the only way that maine girls will see a fair, safe and level playing field. and, unfortunately, at the same time that will harm maine students, but i think that's the only recourse we have many our state. charlie: yeah. so this is one of those issue is that i think in ten years we're going to have to look back and try to explain to our kids this was an issue because it makes no sense. so, you know, i think that normal democrats don't support any of this stuff. do you get the sense that some of your democrat colleagues in maine realize what a loser this is and, hopefully, more importantly, huh dangerous this is and -- how dangerous this is and how bad this is for children and that maybe they should get sort of in league with you guys to actually try to fix some of this at the high school level? >> everyday mainers, absolutely, across party lines understand it's common sense, biological

>> reporter: ukrainian president volodymyr zelenskyy held a military cabinet meeting in kharkiv yesterday. they prepared for the meeting between the ukrainian and is american delegations that will take place in saudi arabia. the ukrainians though are not expected to meet face to face with russian negotiators. as these discussions get under way, violence is escalating in the middle east with israel conducting strikes in gaza after a ceasefire with hamas fell apart last week. israeli defense forces also struck lebanon where the military says it hit hezbollah targets. american officials are ramping up pressure on hamas to release the hostages. a all this happening as discussions about a iran are expected to take place this week. axios reports a senior israeli delegation is expected to visit the white house in the coming days to talk about iran. president trump has given tehran two months to negotiate a new nuclear deal. lisa. lisa: thank you, madeleine. >> reporter: you bet.

priority for the administration. lisa: i guess why are some people then standing in the way? i i mean, you would think we would with want to deport these gang members, we'd want to deport these people who you label as terrorists, so why still stand in the way? >> it's incredible to think about. when you think about the types of people that i.c.e. is arresting right now, there are murderers, human traffickers, sex traffickers, you know, these are people we don't want on u.s. soil, and they came in illegally, and the president's trying to use a method to get them out of the country faster to secure america. to me, the people tar standing in his way are doing it because they want open borders. lisa: well, josh, real quick, what went -- john, real quick with, what went through your head in that interview with j.d. vance and martha mad cats, what went through your -- rads cats when she said, it's just a handful of apartment complexes, no big deal?

attend the university of south carolina with her best buddy, her best friend, her bff under a program that offer as students with disabilities the opportunity to pursue college education. >> i'm going to college -- [inaudible] >> she said she's looking forward to going to parties. >> yes. [laughter] rachel: wow, she's just like everyone else. well, ava's loving every minute of it and, guess what? she just became the newest member of p health care i -- phi mu. she joins us now with her mom and three of her sorority sisters. okay, so, first, let me hay this out. usca has a program called life where they take in 12 students with challenges similar to what ava has. and so she's been going true freshman year with.

ava, you decided to join a sorority. why? >> [inaudible] rachel: amazing. >> to meet friends and to go to parties and do fun stuff. >> yes. [laughter] rachel: yeah. sounds like e she's having a ball. so, emily, what has ava brought to the sorority? what are you guys getting out of having her part of your sisterhood? >> well, she has brought so much. her personality has really made us, i think, just better people. every time she walks in a room, we just have so much joy. she's just a little ray of sunshine. and i feel like everyone always needs a little happiness like that in their lives, so i'm really rah grateful she's here with us. a. aishah: rachel: i love it. patricia, i understand that you are involved as well.

explain. >> yes. is so when i spoke with the chapter advisor who is an alumni of fhi -- p if hi if america u, she asked if i was -- phi m if u, she asked if i was an alumnus. so i was just focused on going to school and doing what i was doing, and i did not join a greek organization. so she thought that it would be amazing if i was with also initiated with ava. so next i think sunday ava and i will get initiated together into phi america u. rachel: oh, my goodness, i absolutely love. this by the way, i can relate. when i was a sophomore many college, hi mom became a freshman -- freshman in college at my if university, so this is interesting to me to hear all of this. so how has the year been,

patricia? i mean, because i want to know, other people who are watching who have daughters like ava, sons, what can they get out of this experience? why should they go to college, and what can they gain as -- for life skills by doing so? >> yeah. ava's been doing absolutely amazing, you know? she lives in the dorm. she uses her own alarm clock. she gets up by herself every single day. she takes care of her daily needs completely by herself. she goes and, you know, does all her activities. she goes to the class by herself, she goes on sundays, she has her class with her sisters as she's going true the initiation -- new the initiation process. she has fitness classes, she is learning life skills. she has a job on campus where she's working in what hay saul the -- [inaudible] -- they call the -- [inaudible] which is their cafeteria area. so she's meeting degree-seeking

students, and she's just become a part of this campus, and she is living it full. she's not coming home on the weekends like we had to drag her home -- [laughter] there was a little hurricane that came through her, hurricane helene are, that really ravaged the area around here, and, you know, she -- we had to make her component. -- come home. she absolutely loves it. rachel: yes. >> -- when she gets to go back. rachel: she looks like she's thriving. ava, congratulations to you on having a great time in college. alsoal i want to thank the sorority, phi mu. good on you girls for including ava, making sure she's part of it. all of these people with down syndrome, with special needs, they want the same experiences and milestoneses as a everybody else. you girls are making that happen, and is i'm so proud of you. and she's gaining these life skills for when prish that ceasd a, mom's not around. great having you guys.
